Singer, songwriter and award winning harmonica player John Sutton picked up his first harmonica in 1975 and bought his first guitar in 1976 and has been playing with artists from all over the USA ever since. John's harmonica style has been praised by some of the best....and he plays with an energy that lets everyone know he feels what he plays. After joining up with Luther, the duo was fortunate to play at some of the best festivals and venues in Ohio and Michigan including the Akron Civic Theater, The Canton Blues Festival, The Canal Winchester Blues Festival, The Vine Arts Festival, The Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival, The Kent Blues Festival, Kent All Round Festival, The Cuyahoga County Fair, The Lorain County Fair, Olmsted Heritage Fest, The Ohio State Fair, The House of Blues, Wilbert's Dowtown Cleveland as well as many other public venues and music rooms. Before disbanding in 2017, Luther and John won 1st place in the Northeast Ohio Blues Association (NEOBA) Challenge.
